Although it is well accepted to introduce financial education in compulsory education, there is no consensus on the optimal way to implement financial education.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This book explores the current state and the future challenges of financial education in five European countries: Belgium, Estonia, Italy, Slovakia, and the Netherlands. Moreover, it provides a comprehensive review of the academic literature on financial literacy. The book is a product of a strategic partnership with professionals from 14 partners, including universities, secondary schools and intermediary organisations dealing with financial literacy promotion. Daarom snijden Geert Van Campenhout, Kenneth De Beckker en Kristof De Witte het onderwerp financi\u00eble voorlichting op school aan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ze formuleren enkele belangrijke aandachtspunten, gebaseerd op<br>recente observaties en vaststellingen, met het doel om financi\u00eble<br>voorlichting effici\u00ebnt aan te pakken op school. Het eerste deel schetst de achtergrond op basis waarvan ze een strategie kunnen uitwerken om jongeren financi\u00eble vaardigheden bij te brengen. Hun financi\u00eble vaardigheid zal in cijfervorm beoordeeld worden, waarbij de Nederlandstalige en de Franstalige gemeenschap vergeleken worden. Het volgende deel brengt de huidige situatie in Belgi\u00eb in kaart en onderzoekt de invoering van financi\u00eble voorlichting op school.
